Lambs Farm Reopens, Requires Reservations

LIBERTYVILLE, IL — Lambs Farm has reopened and is now accepting online reservations for those hoping to stop out. The farm, located at 4245 W. Rockland Road in Libertyville, has new rules in place meant to prevent the spread of COVID-19. The farmyard is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Tuesdays through Sundays and reservations are required. Snoopy the goat, Joseph the dromedary camel, Stella the cow, Squirt the donkey, Mezzo the pig and more than 300 other animals are on site for visitors. Follow Libertyville Patch on Facebook The farm is requiring guests and staff to keep their distance from each other, staying at last six feet apart; to wear a mask; use hand sanitizer upon entering and leaving the farm and to wash their hands thoroughly. If anyone is showing COVID-19 symptoms, they are asked not to visit. In addition, Lambs Farm is following a strict sanitation schedule and requiring employee wellness checks. Sign up for Libertyville Patch breaking news alerts and daily updates In addition to the farmyard, the farm's Dogwood Garden & Pet Center will be open from 10 a.m.to 5 p.m. on Tuesdays through Saturdays with reservations required via phone at 847-367-7606; the Cedar Chest Thrift Shop is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesdays through Saturdays; the Magnolia Cafe & Bakery is open from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Tuesdays through Fridays and from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays; and the Sugar Maple Country Store & Bakery is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Tuesdays through Saturdays.
