Slow down and smell the wildflowers! Join us for a gentle, guided walk around the North Pond as we learn about plants native to Chicago.
Join the volunteer docents of the Lincoln Park Conservancy as we take a gentle guided walk around the North Pond Nature Sanctuary. Each month we learn about the different wildflower species in bloom - including how to identify them, some historic uses, and other stories about them.
These easy 45- to 60-minute walks are geared toward adults and concentrate on selected areas around the pond, starting in front of North Pond Restaurant.
Please come dressed for the weather. Comfortable shoes, hats, water bottles, and/or rain gear, are encouraged.
There is a donation of $5.00 for this guided walk. Your support helps the Lincoln Park Conservancy train and support our knowledgeable docents.
Thank you!
