Join Environmental Protection Specialist Tim Pine for a guided tour and history of Strawberry Creek, with gardening and clean-up afterward. The Berkeley Student Cooperative Alumni Association (BSCAA) is excited to invite you to our biannual Strawberry Creek tour and clean-up. Meet fellow volunteers at the BSC's Central Office balcony to enjoy coffee and donuts at 9:30 a.m. and get ready for a fun morning of gardening and history around Strawberry Creek. Environmental protection specialist Tim Pine of the UC Berkeley Office of Environment, Health, & Safety will take us on a tour of Strawberry Creek and share its history and the impact of environmental harm, as well as how he and others are successfully restoring the creek. At the end of the tour, Tim and his team will provide gardening tools to volunteers so you can participate in weeding an area with invasive plants!
