MALVERN, PA — Tuesday is Primary Election day across Pennsylvania. In the Malvern area, U.S. Rep. Chrissy Houlahan (PA-6) is running unopposed on the Democratic ballot for the party's nomination in Congress. This will be her second term, if she wins the general election as expected in November. Republican John Emmons is running unchallenged for that seat in the U.S. House of Representatives, and will face Houlahan in November. In the Pennsylvania State Legislature, State Rep Kristine Howard is facing challenger Ginny Kerslake unopposed on the Democratic ticket in the 167th Legislative District. Wendy Graham Leland is running unopposed for the seat on the Republican side of the aisle. Democrat Carolyn Comitta, who represents the 19th Legislative District, is being challenged by two others: Kyle J. Boyer and Don Vymazal. Kevin Runey is running unopposed on the GOP ticket for the 19th District nomination.
