How food waste is affecting climate change and what you can do to be a part of the solution (Vaccine or Neg test required) Join Imperfect Foods and climate-focused organizations for a discussion around how our day-to-day actions affect climate change and what things we can do--as individuals as well as large organizations--to enact positive change. Refreshments provided! Sample Imperfect Foods produce and other waste-fighting snacks while you settle in to learn more about food waste and our planet! Panelists: Minnie, ReFED Oceanic GlobalMediator: Maddy Rotman, Imperfect Foods *** COVID SAFETY MEASURES: For the health and safety of our LA community and our team members, Imperfect Foods will be observing all local COVID regulations, and has instituted the following additional measures: Proof of vaccination, or a negative COVID test 72 hours prior, will be required for all guests attending events at The Rose Room. Temperature checks will also be conducted upon entry. The Rose Room will be at 20% capacity to allow for social distancing throughout the space. Masks will be required at all times, except while actively eating or drinking. Panelists will be permitted to remove their masks during their session. The space will be sanitized between each event and sanitization stations will be placed throughout the venue. Onsite team members will be COVID tested daily. *** Help Imperfect Foods save 1,000 pounds of food from going to waste in LA in just a week! We’re partnering with our favorite local eateries to create limited-edition menu items made with Imperfect ingredients. Each dish fights food waste and helps build a better food system. Food Waste Week will support the crucial work that Hollywood Food Coalition is doing to provide the community with food and support. During Food Waste Week, Imperfect Foods will be donating $5 for every dish sold + all event proceeds.
