Description
CHARLESTOWN TOWNSHIP, PA — In an effort to free up first responders in the area, Charlestown Township has banned open burning.
The board of supervisors has banned all open burning until further notice.
This decision was made to limit the potential need to call first responders as they deal with the coronavirus outbreak.
That means there is a total ban on all outdoor burning of yard waste of any kind whatsoever until further notice.
