Press release from the University of Delaware: March 9, 2022 Blue Hens are going dancing -- but where? The University of Delaware men's basketball team is heading to the NCAA Tournament this month, and everyone is invited to a special March Madness Selection Show Watch Party, scheduled at 5:30 p.m., Sunday, March 13, at The Bob. The fifth-seeded team posted its third consecutive strong defensive effort as the Blue Hens shut down second-seeded UNCW, 59-55, to win the Colonial Athletic Association title on Tuesday, March 8, at the Entertainment & Sports Arena in Washington, D.C. With its sixth conference tournament title in program history and its second in the CAA, the team will learn its NCAA Tournament fate during the selection show, broadcast at 6 p.m. on CBS. All fans are invited to the Selection Show Watch Party. Doors will open at 5 p.m., with a CAA Championship celebration beginning at 5:30 p.m. before the selection show livestream begins at 6 p.m. The event is free and open to the public, but everyone is asked to RSVP in advance of the event.
