Free Childcare Offered To Coronavirus Frontline Workers

MILPITAS, CA — Health-care workers on the frontlines of the COVID-19 fight currently are offered free childcare at Bright Horizons in Milpitas. Bright Horizons and Cisco have partnered with #FirstRespondersFirst to extend the offer at the Cisco Family Connection at 800 Barber Lane in Milpitas. "As a health care worker, you are on the frontlines of the fight against COVID-19 — and we know you are in need of care, too," the organizations said. "High-quality, safe and nurturing child care is essential so you can get to work and have the peace-of-mind to focus on your critical job." The center said COVID-19 protocols will be in place at the facility, including limited capacityand small group sizes, enhanced teacher:child ratios, and intensive hygiene and cleaningpractices. Care will be available at no cost to frontline healthcare workers who have limitedaccess to quality child care. The childcare is available through July 17.
