Press release from the City of Long Beach: March 11, 2022 The City of Long Beach, in cooperation with the Town of Hempstead, will hold the S.T.O.P. program on Sunday, April 3, 2022 behind City Hall from 8am - 3pm. The Stop Throwing Out Pollutants (S.T.O.P.) Program is designed to provide area residents with a safe, environmentally sound method of disposal of the many hazardous materials found in the average home.
