Description
EXETER, NH — As a public service, Patch in New Hampshire is publishing the annual public safety sex offender map to be sure that residents of cities and towns in the Granite State know where convicts of sex crimes live and work.
This map can be used to ensure that your children do not trick-or-treat on Halloween at homes where sex offenders live.
New Hampshire state law requires offenders to register at both their primary residence and place of employment. Some sex offenders who are not banned from using the Internet or social media must also let law enforcement know of any emails or accounts they are using.
These offenders are not wanted by police and this information should not be used to harass, discriminate, or harm these individuals.
In New Hampshire, sex offenders are not specifically prohibited from handing out candy on Halloween.
The pins on the embedded map represent addresses where offenders are or may be located.
The information is based on the New Hampshire Department of Safety but the department's online information may not be completely current.
