Here are the top three stories today in Spokane: Amazon is providing Spokane artists with an opportunity to display their artwork on backboards at Hoopfest. The world's largest 3-on-3 basketball tournament is coming to Spokane with 13 backboards in the Amazon-sponsored lot. Submissions will be accepted until Apr. 1, 2022. (KXLY Spokane) The Spokane City Council will return to in-person meetings on Monday as the state ends mask mandates. The meeting will begin with a 3:30 p.m. briefing and will have a 6:00 p.m. legislative session. Virtual viewing options will still be available for those not able to attend the meeting in-person. (The Spokesman Review)A man was arrested at the Spokane County Courthouse on Friday morning with a large collection of airsoft guns. The Spokane Police Department arrived at the courthouse after being notified of a suspicious armed man approaching the building. The man has been placed on a mental health hold and will likely be charged with a misdemeanor.
