Press release from SPD Blotter: March 10, 2022 12:43 pm SPD Arson detectives are investigating after several fires were set early Thursday at a Belltown apartment complex. Around 2:45 AM, the Seattle Fire Department responded to a report of a fire at an apartment building in the 2200 block of 1st Ave. Fire personnel found a man in a building, who appeared to have sustained injuries from smoke inhalation. He was transported to Harborview Medical Center in critical condition. Fire investigators determined the fire in the building was intentionally set, and have turned the case over to SPD.
