Stuff the Bus will be collecting food to help restock local food pantries on Saturday, March 19, 2022, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., at various locations throughout Fairfax County. Those interested in helping to restock the pantry run by CHO (the Committee for Helping Others) can drop off donations at the Patrick Henry Library at 101 Maple Ave E. Vienna. Go to www.fairfaxcounty.gov/neighborhood-community-services/stuff-the-bus for other locations and a list of most needed items. A collaborative effort between the Fairfax County Government and local nonprofits begun in 2011 to restock local food pantries after the holidays, Stuff the Bus has collected over 220 tons of food to feed hungry people in Fairfax County.
