Masks will still be required while riding buses, ferries, streetcars, and paratransit vehicles. (WDSU New Orleans)New Orleans City council has approved a new DNA crime lab for Orleans Parish. Currently, DNA evidence is sent to Baton Rouge where there is a 2,500 case backlog. This is expected to help combat the rising crime rates.
