ARLINGTON, VA — An Arlington man was arrested and charged with malicious wounding on Thursday in connection with a fight that started on a bus, according to the Arlington County Police Department.
Shortly after 3:30 p.m. on Thursday, police responded to a report of a fight in the 2100 block of Washington Boulevard, near the intersection with Arlington Boulevard.
The suspect, Marvin Mullins, 46, and the victim were on a bus when they got into an argument, police said. Mullins then pulled out a knife and struck the victim. The victim then used pepper spray on Mullins, according to police.
The victim suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to an area hospital for treatment. Mullins suffered minor injuries and was treated on the scene by medics, police said.
