Description
Experienced mature singer, along with a bass player, and a fantastic guitarist are seeking to put together a rhythm section for practice sessions. This is just a chance to get together weekly in a nice rehearsal space for the purpose of sharpening your chops, trying out some new approaches, and keeping your performance skills at a top level. No rehearsal hall fees are involved and a decent set of drums are available to play on. Full disclosure - no gig opportunities are likely to come from this as both the guitarist and I are in a working band - and I don't contemplate starting another one. But if you're interested in adding a valuable, fun, three weekly hours of playing, this might be the way to do it. No originals will be played, and no jazz - only old-school Rockabilly, Classic Rock, Country, and a bit of blues. No colossal chops are required, but you must be reasonably experienced, have some feel for the genres, and be able to hold tempos steady.
