DENVER, CO — A pedestrian was killed Saturday when they were hit by a car while on Interstate 25 in Denver, according to police. The crash happened in the early morning hours Saturday on southbound I-25 near West Alameda Avenue, according to the Denver Police Department. Authorities closed both north and southbound lanes around 3:15 a.m. to allow police to investigate the crash. All lanes had reopened by 5:30 a.m., according to police. The pedestrian, who has not been identified, died at the crash scene, police said. It's unclear whether the driver remained at the scene and if any charges will be filed.
