TEMECULA, CA —A Compton resident was arrested this week on suspicion of committing 'numerous' burglaries in Lake Elsinore, Wildomar and Temecula last month, the Riverside County Sheriff's Department reported.
K'John Henry Sands, 21, was arrested in Compton on Thursday in connection to the series of burglaries, according to the Riverside County Sheriff's Department.
Sands is being held on charges of conspiracy to commit a crime, burglary in the second degree and violation of state parole, which is a felony, according to jail records.
The cities of Lake Elsinore, Wildomar and Temecula were all targeted in the late-night thefts between Feb. 14 and Feb. 16, according to investigators.
It was not immediately clear what was stolen or how many burglaries took place, and whether homes or businesses were burglarized. It also remains unknown how deputies identified Sands as a suspect in the burglaries.
Sands is being held without bail and is expected to appear in Riverside County Superior court Monday.
Patch will update this report with additional information as it becomes available.
