Press release from the Town of Mount Pleasant: March 11, 2022 By John Greenberg, Mount Pleasant Communications and Marketing Coordinator  MOUNT PLEASANT, SC (March 11, 2022) – The Town of Mount Pleasant FY2022.2023 Application for Accommodations Tax Funding is available online. A new and more user-friendly Google Form-based application has been developed. The application is for tourism-related projects or cultural events to be held from July 1, 2022, through December 31, 2022. Complete this form and submit it along with all of the required documents. If your required documents file is too large to submit, email them to [email protected] or mail them to Town Hall at ATAC, 100 Ann Edwards Lane, Mount Pleasant, SC 29464. Along with the new application, an Application Workshop for applicants will be held on March 15, at 9:00 a.m. at Town Hall Municipal Complex, 100 Ann Edwards Lane. This workshop will assist applicants in navigating the new application. All completed applications and supporting documents must be submitted by April 1, before 4:30 p.m. The project presentations will be held at Town Hall on April 28 at 10:00 a.m. and may not exceed two minutes. The Accommodations Tax Advisory Committee will deliberate and grade the projects on April 29. The projects will be presented to Town Council for final approval during the May 10 Council Meeting. The organizations receiving funding will be notified shortly after Town Council's approval.
