It's not hard to figure out why stocks rise together and crash together. Why gas and heating oil prices are high everywhere. Why food prices are included in nearly every discussion of inflation around the globe. The global economy moves in lock step. You wanted it, you got it. You want the convenience of a connected world. You want to be able to send dollars, bitcoin and and stock trades around the world at the touch of an app. The answer is to become self sufficient and take care your those within your borders first. Americans take care of Americans. Canadians take care of Canadians. Europeans take care of Europeans. Stop trying to pretend this is working. All you've done is spread financial contagion. You've basically dictated that if one partners burns, we all burn. Common sense should tell you that this dynamic is sorely misplaced. The global economy is failing and billions of people are failing with it. A global recession is loading.
