Keyboard Player Needed for Original Rock Band
Meets
Denver CO
Description
Total Flower Chaos is looking for a keyboard player for our original rock band. The style includes a variety of rock styles, ranging from spacey psychedelic rock to hard rock. You will mostly be playing synth and organ pads, with occastional synth lead. So a good keyboard with high quality synth and organ sounds is required. Separate analog synth keyboard even better. Backing vocals ability a plus. Total Flower Chaos is led by Rob Roper, a songwriter, guitarist and singer who has been playing solo and in bands for 25 years. We currently have a drummer, bass player, lead guitar player, and Rob on guitar, vocals and songwriting/composing. The band is Denver-based, and rehearses in the Denver area. The style includes a variety of rock styles, ranging from hard rock to psychedelic rock to others. Have a listen to previous recordings here: from "The Way," Rob's 2021 solo album: https://robroper.bandcamp.com/album/the-way Listen especially to "The Way," "The Cure Goes Surfing," "Everything's Going to be Alright," "Metadata," and "I Didn't Believe." from the Total Flower Chaos 2016 EP: https://totalflowerchaos.bandcamp.com/album/roses Listen especially to "Black Mountain." Note that the keyboard players I hired for the studio recordings were partial to the Hammond organ, but on some of the songs, I would rather have analog string synth pads than the Hammond. And a synth lead could work instead of the organ solos, or even guitar solos, on some songs. "Black Mountain" for sure. We are looking for good musicians for whom music is more than a casual hobby. We are not looking for hired guns who are just looking for a paying gig. We are looking for people who like the songs and will consider this band their own, and who will enthusiastically promote the band to everyone they know. If, after hearing the songs, you think this band might be for you, then email me at the Craiglist address. Tell me something about your musical background, your phone number, and the best time to call you. DO NOT contact me until you have listened to some of the songs on my Bandcamp sites. There's no point being in the band if you don't like the music. Rob Roper www.robroper.com
