Most of us have kept a journal at some point, yet few know the therapeutic benefits of taking time for daily entries. This session on narrative therapy will describe the different ways to keep a journal, the surprising benefits derived from writing, how to maintain momentum to continue the habit, and, finally, what to do with those pages once they have been written. Two to three short writing sessions will demonstrate how much can be written when our critical voice is distracted. The session will ensure that learners employ this narrative tool to reflect on their actions, reduce stress, and rejuvenate their mindset.
