LAGUNA BEACH, CA — Laguna Beach received it's first of two new ambulances as part of a program designed to shorten emergency response times in the city, city officials announced Thursday.
The new city-owned ambulances are part of the city's new in-house ambulance transport service, which starts on July 1. After July 1, the ambulances will operate 24-hours a day while being staffed with two EMT ambulance operators.
The full-time ambulances will be placed at Fire Station #1, 501 Forest Avenue, and Fire Station #4, 31646.
