Description

CONCORD, NH — Concord police and fire and rescue teams were sent to a rollover on River Road on Saturday. At around 1:15 p.m., EMTs and officers were sent to a car crash just north of the intersection with River Road, Bog Road, and Carter Hill Road. The car appeared to have struck a utility pole and then flipped. The driver appeared to be badly shaken up. Later, he was taken to Concord Hospital. At post time, Unitil had arrived at the scene to fix the damaged utility pole and hanging, live electrical wires. Power is still on in the area but may be shut off for a short period of time during the repair. Police dispatch said the department had not had any contacts with the driver recently. A police sergeant said no charges had been filed yet in the incident. Concord NH Patch will update this post when more information becomes available. Got a news tip? Send it to [email protected].
