We are sadly rehoming our female 30-35 lb golden doodle who just turned one on Feb 21st. She is a good girl, is kennel trained, potty trained, and knows commands like sit, shake, lay down, and drop it. We reinforce her commands with treats (especially drop it) so they have stuck pretty well. She is gentle with our 6 month old baby boy and 9 year old cat, though the cat hates her. The cat will scratch her and the dog is still fixated on the cat, but has literally never shown aggression. She is super playful and would do best with a backyard (she will grunt at the door to go out) and preferably another playful dog (I would advise against a senior dog as she loves to play and would be annoying to an older dog). She will come with a kennel, harness, leash, bowls, pet clippers, brush/ comb, bowls, water fountain, toys, 40lb bag of food, and treats. She is fully vaccinated but not spayed. Her vet is banfield and we have a contract with them on her through May so that will also be included. The downside to her is that she will grab things she’s not supposed to (like our 6 month old son’s toys). When she goes to doggy day care and is tired out, she won’t do this… unfortunately we cannot afford to take her there as much as she needs, and we do not have another dog for her to play with. She loves to play in the backyard and will play fetch or chase with her toys. She will drop it when you tell her the command, but she definitely needs to be supervised or kenneled to avoid her stealing things. We got her while I was pregnant with my son, and we did a good job training her, but are not doing her justice by keeping her and not giving her the exercise and play time she deserves. We know we shouldn’t have done that but can’t go back so please spare the hate mail. Rehoming fee does apply of $350 to ensure she goes to a good home and cover the supplies. Call/ text .
