Description

CONCORD, NH — The city of Concord has issued a "winter maintenance parking ban" for downtown. The ban is being implemented to remove snow on downtown city streets and sidewalks. No parking will be allowed during the overnight hours — from 11:59 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 7, to 7 a.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 8. Compared to past years, the parking ban area has expanded to include a number of streets with new metered parking spaces. Vehicles not removed from theses streets will be ticketed and towed by Concord police. Free parking is available in city garages between 7 p.m. and 8 a.m. in permit-lease spaces and 9 a.m. in metered spaces. Visit the city's winder operations website here for more details and for a .pdf of the expanded parking ban map, visit this link here. Got a news tip? Send it to [email protected].
