Description

CONCORD, NH — Students at Broken Ground Elementary School were busy last week creating wreaths and cards for patients at Concord Hospital. According to Karen McCormack, an elementary school art teacher at the school, the students created the wreaths and then made cards, too. The cards offered best wishes for the season as well as a photo of the student artist with their work. "The program has been one of the few positive things that has come from COVID," she said. Kate Morse, the chaplain at the hospital, will be handing out the wreaths and cards to patients in need of a pick me up, McCormack said. She posted pictures of the students and their work on Facebook. Got a news tip? Send it to [email protected]. View videos on Tony Schinella's YouTube.com channel or Rumble.com channel.
