Douglasville Community Job Fair Features Over 40 Employers

DOUGLASVILLE, GA — If you're looking for a job, Douglasville Police Department may be able to help you — and not just for law enforcement positions. DPD officials are hosting a Community Job Fair on the front lawn of the police headquarters on Monday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., featuring more than 40 employers hiring for full- and part-time positions, the department said on Facebook. Participants are asked to bring resumes and other pertinent information to provide to potential employers. The event will be held rain or shine, and it's free to attend. "Quit wasting expensive gas driving around filling out applications and come to one location where you can find the right job for you," DPD wrote in the post. Monday is a teacher workday for Douglas County School System, so the police department encouraged parents to bring their teenagers looking for a summer job.
