Old Quarry Cheerleading Team Wins Third State Title In A Row

LEMONT, IL — The Old Quarry Middle School varsity cheerleading team earned their third state title in a row at the 2020 cheerleading state finals Jan. 25. According to the IESA website, Old Quarry was the medium team routine champion, with a score of 88.48. The Warriors beat out the second place team by more than 2 points. As the team returned Saturday night from the Peoria Civic Center, they received a police escort through Lemont. The team is coached by Brianna Paczkowski and Claudia DeSantis.
