10 Netted During New Hampshire State Police DWI Saturation Patrol

CONCORD, NH — New Hampshire State Police stopped 135 vehicles and arrested 10 people during a DWI Saturation Patrol this weekend in Concord and the capital region. According to Lt. Chad Lavoie of Troop D, five people were charged with drunken driving: Taya Ethier, 34, of Lee was charged with aggravated driving under the influence; Kevin Coonce, 34, of White River Junction, Vermont, was charged with DUI; Steven Longchamp, 26, of Barre, VT, was also charged with DUI; Brittany Sprague, 32, of Manchester, was arrested on DUI, possession of a controlled drug, and operating without a valid license charges; and Michele Perkins, 58, of Concord, was charged with DUI, too. Also arrested were Tim Sankoh, 19, of Manchester, who was charged with operating after suspension-revocation and suspension of vehicle registration; Shuvah Harris, 25, of Providence, Rhode Island, on violation of a domestic violence order, operating without a valid license, and misuse of plates; and Stephanie Salas-Reyes, 25, of Manchester on an operating after suspension-subsequent charge. Shamus Donovan, 20, of Concord was charged with a single count of transport alcohol by a minor. "The New Hampshire State Police has taken an aggressive stance to prevent persons from driving when impaired," Lavoie said. "New Hampshire has some of the most aggressive laws in the country to fight impaired driving and the law enforcement community will use those tools to their fullest extent to make sure our citizens and visitors are safe when operating their vehicles on our roadways."
