A luxury high rise condominium community, is seeking a building engineer to work closely with Chief Engineer to oversee the day-to-day operation of the property. The position requires building strong relationships with the board of directors, homeowners, residents and staff to assure a high-quality living environment. Weekends are mandatory. Requirements Have an understanding of automated high-rise building operations and systems Strong written and verbal communication skills. Must be an "active" listener who can anticipate issues and strive for mutually satisfactory resolution Customer service-oriented mindset with multi-tasking abilities and a flexible resilient attitude Ability to climb ladders, work in weather and lift 50lbs Ability to write and re-engineer processes and create policy and procedures according to best industry practices Ability to work with and understand the problems and attitudes of homeowners Physically able to perform all duties and work five days a week and serve on-call as needed. Demonstrate time management, common sense and self-control skills. Be a team player and to contribute to the creation of an enjoyable, productive and safe work environment. Display high morale, integrity, loyalty, enthusiasm and professionalism at all times. Be willing and prepared to assist team members with tasks not strictly related to this job description. 2 years engineer experience
