Did sanctioning Saddam's Iraq work? Nope, he stayed in power in his luxury palaces until we killed him. He didn't care if Iraqis suffered. Has sanctions worked in Iran? Nope, the ayatollahs are still in power living in their palaces while Iranian's suffer. This is proof positive dictators like Putin, Saddam and the ayatollahs don't care, they have all they need to survive. Putin will sell his gas & oil to China, he already has a pipeline to them and is building another one. All the products Russia needs China can and will provide be they inferior to the West's. The sanction game is window dressing you're being duped into believing matter. The US can no longer fight two wars at the same time, Russia is in even worse shape. Imagine if Europe really helped Ukraine Putin would be finished. Nuclear war means Putin loses everything, he isn't that stupid. Amazing how easily you people can be conned.
