Looking for 2 different part time positions: CARPENTER and also separately a LABOR DEMO PERSON. These are not full time, they are both part time that will be paid hourly on an as needed basis. ===================================================================== 1) CONSTRUCTION CARPENTER for projects on residential home renovations. Union Carpenter experience preferred but not required. (Hourly pay rate depends on your skills and the project). Carpenter Responsibilities - do you have any of the following skills: - Rough Carpentry and Framing, - Finish Carpentry and Trim molding, - Cabinet installation, - Deck construction or repair, - Fence installation or replacement, - Window or door replacement and installation. =============================================================== 2) LABORER DEMO worker wanted (Paying $18/hour (no tax)). Labor Responsibilities include: - Demolition work, chiseling tile, pulling off old drywall, removing screws from ceiling, etc - Cleaning and sweeping after various contractors finish their work, - Carry in drywall, help move things, carry scraps to dumpster, - Scraping and removing old tile, mixing concrete, - Basic landscaping, pulling weeds, cutting lawn, snow shoveling,... - Possible to do some basic painting when needed. =============================================================== NOTES: I am a General Contractor working in the near west suburbs on various projects.
