Cumbia / chicha band seeking percussionist - congas? timbales?

Hello! We are three musicians seeking to expand the project we started during quarantine. The band is a trio of guitar - bass - drums. We're looking to add a percussionist (one or more: bring a friend) to the mix. We play cumbias in the Peruvian "chicha" style, but are also interested in a wide variety of Afro-latin sounds, and psychedelic music, and funky rhythms. None of us are pro Latin musicians! We're coming from a rock / R&B /  jazz context and trying our best in a tradition that's new to us. Set is a mix of originals and covers of classic tunes by Los Mirlos, Juaneco y su combo, and Afrosound. It would be great if you played congas or timbales, but we are open to other things. We have a few things at our space (including a guïro). We rehearse in South Minneapolis. Please respond and tell us a little about yourself if interested! If you can sing in Spanish, it's a plus.
