Description

Scampers Daycamp for Dogs in Kirkland is looking for Rock Solid Staff. We are seeking to fill two positions to assist us with Dog Wrangling and Client Relations Support, for morning shifts on weekdays and weekends. These positions can be either Part Time or Full Time. If you're available right away, you can start right away. Do you love dogs and think you'd enjoy working with a great number of them in a group environment? Do you possess lots of positive energy, enjoy working as part of a team, and enjoy a fast-paced environment? If you answered YES these questions, we want you on our team. We welcome people of all backgrounds. We only ask that you treat the dogs with love and kindness, that you expect to work hard and stay busy, and that you have a rock-solid work ethic. You will be a member of a team monitoring a group of dogs and maintaining a safe and clean play environment. In addition to the Dog Wrangling responsibilities, the Client Relations Support staffer will be interacting with our clients during the busy morning drop off period, checking clients in, processing payments, processing reservation requests, and responding to customer queries in a knowledgeable and professional manner according to Scampers established policies and procedures. This position requires someone who understands and possesses the professionalism, discretion, and responsibility necessary for client interaction. Some notes on working with us: - Remember that rock-solid work ethic we talked about? Reliability is important! You are a crucial member of a carefully assembled team. - Dog wrangling is a physically and emotionally demanding job - you will be on your feet all day; there are moments of active and strenuous work between long periods of quiet, but you need to be able to stay focused on the dogs in your care; there are moments of frustration and mayhem and there are moments of bliss - you need to be able to manage your equilibrium own as you manage the energy of the play group. If this sounds like a career you'd like to pursue, email us your resume along with a cover letter outlining your reasons for applying for this position and why you'd be a good fit for Scampers. Please note: We will reply to those applicants who have been shortlisted for interviews.
