Boat Detailer / Yacht Maintenance Crew Job Description: We are a small family-owned and operated yacht maintenance company. We are currently seeking to fill positions for seasonal/part-time crew on our for Yacht Maintenance Technician / Detailing Crew! Position is part-time to start (generally between 10-20 hrs a week) and can grow into full-time (if desired) as we proceed into Summer. We perform mostly aesthetic and cleaning services such as buffing/waxing, detailed wash services, canvas cleaning/treatment, stainless steel polishing and more! Here are just a few expectations that we have for our crew: Responsibilities: -Complete routine/recurring cleaning/wash services on client vessels. -Perform fiberglass/gelcoat reconditioning services, buff/wax procedure, stainless steel polishing, canvas cleaning/waterproofing. -Work efficiently alone or as a team based upon hourly estimates for work. -Coordinate work / communicate with team via project management app or work calendar. -Keep track of your hours worked/ projects completed with our project management app. Qualifications: Previous experience in detailing/maintenance/painting/ other labor intensive industries is preferred, but on job training will be included. An ideal candidate will be able to illustrate the following: Deadline and detail oriented individual who can work independently or work with a crew. Ability to handle physical workload (some days will be spent mostly standing) Customer-service based attitude with an eager to please approach. Loves working outdoors in all types of weather. Our company performs mobile exterior maintenance at marinas, boat yards, and other facilities around the Greater Seattle Area. Due to the nature of our business a working AND reliable car/truck is required for transportation of tools/ work kits each day. Candidates for employment must be at least 18 years of age AND have a RELIABLE CAR OR TRUCK (no motorcycles, bikes, scooters, bus, etc.), current driver’s license, cell phone, and valid experience that demonstrates the above attributes. Salary: $19.00-$25.00/hr DOE Job Type: Part-time Pay: $19.00 - $25.00 per hour
