Summary Perform various landscape maintenance services such as mowing, trimming, edging walkways and curbs, property clean-ups, etc. Duties and Responsibilities ● Daily mowing and trimming of HOA lawns and commercial property. ● Daily edging of walkways and curbs. ● Seasonal pruning/trimming of trees, shrubs and landscape grasses. ● Seasonal property clean-ups and leaf removals. ● Use of hand tools, such as shovels, rakes, pruners, saws, hedge/brush trimmers. ● Perform such other activities as may be temporarily or permanently assigned. ● Tree and shrub planting, pruning, monitoring and maintenance. ● Installation of landscape materials. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required ● Operate mowing equipment, such as commercial-size push mower, stand-up zero-turn mower, string trimmer, backpack blowers, edgers. Conditions of Employment ● A valid Colorado driver's license will be required if a motor vehicle must be operated on the job. ● Due to the seasonal nature of work, overtime may be required. ● Good attitude, punctual, teachable, trustworthy, values client satisfaction, and communicates effectively Working Conditions and Physical Effort ● Work involves considerable exposure to unusual elements, such as extreme temperatures, dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, unpleasant odors, and/or loud noises. ● Extensive physical activity. Requires strenuous physical work; heavy lifting, pushing, or pulling required of objects over 50 pounds. ● Work environment involves some exposure to hazards or physical risks, which require following basic safety precautions.
