*I won’t answer or return unknown calls, please text or leave a voicemail to get a response* 2 years old Female, spayed Harlequin Great Dane Mix with odd eyes Up to date with our vet. Possible Rehoming(if I can find the the perfect new home) Vet reference will be required. REHOMING FEE $200 will be paid as a balance to your vet for future care, not a money in my pocket as I care more for her well-being than lining my pockets. I will not post pictures publicly, but am happy to share. ALL of her items come with her, as do her toys, beds, extra meds, vet records, leashes, collars, blankets everything she might need. The good: - wonderfully behaved in public - loves other dogs, children, and animals - very good listener - trained by myself to walk politely on a leash with a gentle lead. - training also for Bed(go lay in the bed) Backup(literal walk backwards) Down(lay down) Up(jump up on object, stand) Hands raised to sit or still Wait(stay, in a down position) -Training is not perfect, and we use several forms of assistance, like an e collar and gentle leader. Like any dog she is more focused in a calm environment. The bad: - separation anxiety. She does not like to be alone. This is where I am hoping another home might be a better fit for her. She will chew anything available when left alone at home.(she is a puppy, just turning two at the end of March so not unheard of). - if contained, she will bark/whine the entire time. We use a no shock bark collar when she must be left alone/contained, it is very effective. - she puppy nips when excited, as in mouths, and GENTLE nibbles when very excited. This is corrected with “no bite” - she is weary of strangers when at familiar place. We can walk in the park, play with other people, children, pets etc all day long, but if someone comes to the home or vehicle that she doesn’t know she will bark and act aggressively until acquainted. I feel she deserves more in life than being in a crate 12 hours a day… HOWEVER if I do not find the right fit for her she will not be going, I’m only looking to possibly enhance her life, not hurt it. Ownership will only be transferred on the basis that if it doesn’t work out, if anything happens she is to be given back to me.
