Long story short, this was my wife's bird. My wife passed away about a month ago I thought keeping the bird here would be ok as she is used to her surroundings but she is miserable. I feel the bird would do best with a women taking care of her she hasn't been around other birds, but she is fine around dogs and cats. Please only inquire if you are and experienced large bird owner the price is a firm $900.00 if you cannot afford that then you probably shouldn't own birds as they are very costly. She will come with her cage,toys and whatever food she has left. She is a Red Crowned Amazon and she was used to being handled daily. This bird must go to a good home who can provide her the daily attention and care she needs. If you live in an apartment, condo or anything that you do not own you will not be considered a suitable choice, as this is a parrot and she gets very loud especially in the mornings and evenings. I am hoping the person that is able to care for her is willing to make this a life long commitment as she is only 4 years old.
