Volunteer musicians needed for Bow Lake Dam 15K/5K

Hello music makers, It’s that time of year again. My name is John McCutchen. some friends and I put on an event every summer called the Bow Lake Dam 15K/5K. It is a running race held around Bow Lake in Strafford, NH to raise funds for Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. It has been virtual the last 2 years and we are going to do an in-person event this year! My part is getting some wonderful musicians to play, promote and help runners through a grueling beautiful run on a gorgeous country road. This is our 14th year and takes place on Saturday, June 4th this year. This is such a fun event for all involved and we would love to have a lot of music along the race route. The race starts at 10am and goes for a couple of hours. We would only need 3 hours of your time max. This is a completely volunteer event and we pay in one-of-a-kind T-shirts, good times, food, and the satisfaction of helping out a good cause. I suppose you can deduct a charitable gift from your taxes for your time (consult your tax professional:). We will promote your band any way we can. We have bands set up along the race route in barns, garages, driveways, beaches, boat ramps and lawns throughout the race. Mark your calendars.
