Lemont Decreases Liquor Licenses As 2 Businesses Close

LEMONT, IL — As businesses open and close, the Village must amend its code of ordinances to decrease or increase the number of associated liquor licenses. At its meeting on Nov. 9, the Lemont Village Board approved an ordinance to decrease the number of liquor licenses due to two business closures. The Vault, which was located at 308 Canal St., had a Class A-3 liquor license. The restaurant is now closed, and its liquor license has been removed, board documents state. Gelsosomo's Pizza, which was located at 206 Main St., was also operating with a Class A-3 liquor license.
