King is exactly the dog people dream of sharing their lives with, & that people search for a very long time to find.You have to meet this dog in person to experience his true awesomeness. King weighs 65lbs & is maybe Labrador or pointer mix. He is a youngster at only ~ 1 year but noble beyond his years. He is one of those dogs who lights up rooms with his gentle, kind temperament. King currently lives in a foster home & is exceptionally well-socialized. He has been around other friendly dogs both large & small. He has a gentle play style. He would love to find a home with another friendly, easy-going canine pal (although not required). He doesn’t live with children but we suspect a home with calm, teenagers would be a match. Because he is a proper gentleman, King walks wonderfully on a leash, is crate-trained, house-trained, & is learning basic commands. He is eager to please & learns quickly. He has a nice medium-energy level. He would love to accompany you on a walk in the park or out to your favorite low-key restaurant patio. However, he is happy to crash on the couch with you for a Netflix marathon. King is a relatively quiet dog who we have rarely heard bark. He loves car rides with the wind blowing through his hair. He loves watching deer & other wild critters & is particularly fond of watching & chasing birds. When he dips his feet in the lake, he comes out dancing like a puppy. He likes toys. King takes treats exceptionally gently & gives kisses softly. He is calm when meeting new people. His fun-loving, goofy personality shines with the people he gets to know best. And, what a wonderful peek into a truly beautiful soul. Also, he snores. King was given his name because he is very regal looking, prances along like a thoroughbred racehorse, yet he is humble, gentle, & kind. You have to meet this dog. King is located in Waco, TX & is only $70 to adopt through Waco Pets Alive!. He is neutered, current on vaccination, microchipped, heartworm negative, & current on preventative.
