My Space & Early Learning Time, LLC is currently hiring/interviewing dependable, caring, team oriented individuals. Ideal candidate must be able to communicate effectively, follow state and school guidelines, be able to follow set curriculum, and most importantly like working with preschool aged children. Candidates must possess High School Diploma, at least a minimum of Nine (9) ECE Credit Units and One (1) year preschool teaching experience. Candidates must also clear background and fingerprint check, CPR/First Aid certified (plus), flexible availability, and has reliable transportation, and references are required. Job duties will include but are not limited to: indirect supervision of children whilst interacting with their family in their reserved space, class management, lesson planning, attendance for all center events, cleaning and sanitizing learning tools in their individual spaces. Job Type: Part Time Salary: $14.00 to $18.00 /hour Experience: • Preschool: 1 year (Preferred) • Early Childhood Education: 1 year (Preferred) • Teaching: 1 year (Preferred) Babysitting/on call child care services: 1 year (Preferred) • Family Child Care Home: 1 year (Preferred) Education: • High School or equivalent (Preferred) Responsibilities My Space teachers are responsible for • Developing and delivering interactive learning programs designed to engage and educate young children. • Establish and enforce rules of behavior for children and their families during their learning interactions in their classroom-like spaces • Provide tools and resources for children to use and explore during learning and play activities • Adapt learning environment and materials to meet the interests and learning styles of children • Develop and maintain positive relationships with children and parents • Oversee/interact/manage classroom activities whilst in their parents/legal guardian care Work Location: • Lemon Grove, CA This Job Is: • A good fit for applicants with gaps in their resume, or who have been out of the workforce for the past 6 months or more • A good job for someone just entering the workforce or returning to the workforce with limited experience Please email us your resume
