They lived with the dinosaurs and now they live with us. Come hear about alligators and crocodiles. Is it an alligator or a crocodile? Learn about the Order Crocodilia, including crocodiles, gharial, alligators, and caimans. Learn how to identify families and local species in the refuge. Fun for all ages. Please allow about 20 minutes to drive from the Visitor Center parking lot to the Cross-dike trail. Park on the right near the restrooms then walk about 100 yards along the Cross-dike trail to the pavilion. Arrive at the Cross Dike Pavilion located on the Cross Dike Trail (entrance fee applies) by 1:20pm to check in and confirm your attendance. This tour is limited to 10 individuals and sign ups are required. If you do not arrive by 1:20, your spot may be given to someone else. *Need to cancel your ticket? No problem.
