Soundscapes musicians return for their second large concert of the season! Enjoy the music of student musicians.
Frequent ensemble performance is a crucial part of what it means to be a participating musician in Soundscapes. Each musician in Soundscapes grows their confidence with each performance, and an appreciative and encouraging audience plays an impactful role in their musical and social development. Each student will perform with their instrument group, and be able to watch their peers perform on stage.
The concert at Crittenden Middle School Auditorium will feature a range of styles and ability levels, and culminate with the Elementary Orchestra and Elementary Wind Band performances consisting of some of the most experienced student musicians.
Each musician will receive a blue Soundscapes shirt prior the concert. (Hopefully, if our order arrives in time! Plan on wearing a blue shirt just in case they don't arrive in time.) Musicians are asked to wear black pants for the concert.
All student musicians will stay after school on Thursday March 17th, eat a pizza dinner provided by Soundscapes, perform the concert, and be dismissed shortly after the concert concludes at about 7:00pm. Students will not be dismissed prior to the conclusion of the concert.
Covid Guidelines: Every other row in the auditorium will be unavailable in order to create additional personal space for the audience. The auditorium will be at 75% capacity. Mask wearing is optional. We require that cell phones be silenced because it creates an environment where everyone can enjoy the performance.
Transportation: Bus transportation is NOT provided after the concert. Parents are responsible for transportation following the concert.
