The Si Se Puede Gala is an annual event held in Las Vegas recognizing the heritage and contributions of Hispanic/Latino Americans in NV. Fellow Nevadans, This year, I am grateful to announce the return of our Si Se Puede Gala, which is an annual event held in Las Vegas recognizing the heritage and contributions of Hispanic/Latino Americans to the greater Nevada region. This community-wide event provides Legislators, faith leaders, and local community partners the opportunity to give back and network with one another. As the Chair of the Nevada Hispanic Legislative Caucus, I am proud to lead a dynamic team of leaders that are dedicated to voicing and advancing issues affecting our Latino community in Nevada for the purpose of increasing access and parity. We envision a Nevada where families may succeed, have equal access to justice, and have legislators that are demographically representational of the constituents they serve. Furthermore, we are passionate about advancing the values of our Great State of Nevada when we promote equality and embrace diversity. Over the past few years, we have seen firsthand the disparities that have disproportionately affected the Latino community throughout Nevada. This year, we will be highlighting the contributions of Latino frontline workers and paying our respect to those that have dedicated their careers toward service.
