The STEM Lab and Makerspace Starter Kit Presenter: Eric SantosYou’re excited to build a STEM Lab or Makerspace - but where do you start? This workshop will provide an overview of the decision-making processes and will offer recommendations on how to get up and running effectively and efficiently. You’ll get the support you need to build out your STEM / Maker vision and then identify the components you need to make it a reality, such as the space, staff, curriculum, and equipment. Then, we’ll get hands-on by exploring several popular STEM / Maker technologies and activities so you can make informed decisions on what tools to invest in. 3D printing, robotics, coding, and game design will all be explored in this session. Refunds will be issued only to participants who contact SCISC five (5) business days before the start date of the program, or if the program is canceled.
