Furniture Delivery Driver & DeliveryAssociate We are a furniture rental and staging business providing customers with a first-class furniture and delivery experience. We are looking to hire a Driver and a Delivery Associate. Both positions will be responsible for the delivery, assembly, and pickup of furniture to and from customers. You will work closely with the warehouse, logistics and customer service teams to ensure that our customers have the best experience possible. (drivers license and experience driving truck required for Driver position) Responsibilities: • Prepare for deliveries by pulling furniture from pick list and assembling furniture. • Inspect furniture for damage and make sure it is customer ready. Clean and repair if needed. Wrap furniture in plastic and blankets. • Load trucks for that day’s deliveries. • Deliver/Pickup furniture from customers and assemble/disassemble in their home if needed, remove all trash. • Problem solve and resolve delivery issues with customers and logistics team. • When not making deliveries, responsibilities will include helping in the warehouse, refurbishing, and cleaning furniture and warehouse. Ideal candidate has: • 2+ years in furniture delivery and assembly experience. • Experience making deliveries in NYC • Driver’s license and experience driving truck (20’ non-CDL) required for Driver position. • Ability to problem solve • A pleasant and happy demeanor. Ability to interact with customer in positive way. Compensation and Perks: • A starting salary of $20-25/hour (depends on experience and if Driving) • Paid time off and sick leave • 5-day work weeks (for full-time employees) • Discounts on your on furniture
