Man Dies In I-355 Bridge Jump: Coroner

LEMONT, IL — A 38-year-old man died Tuesday after plunging from the I-355 bridge over the Des Plaines River in Lemont, the Will County Coroner's office said. Officials identified the man as Joshua D. Bair of Des Plaines. Bair was seen jumping from the bridge by a witness, the coroner's office said. He was pronounced dead at 2:05 p.m. Illinois State Police are investigating Bair's death. An autopsy is scheduled for Wednesday. Bair's final cause and manner of death will be determined at a later date pending police and toxicological reports, the coroner's office said.
