Exhibit Opening and Hobby Horses Join the Vasa National Archives and Museum as we open our doors for the 2022 season with an Opening Reception for an exhibit looking at where some of the Vasa Lodges get their names. Many lodges honor famous or influential Swedes by naming the lodge after these people. Call 309-927-3898 or email [email protected] for more information. Stop by the Vasa National Archives to make a hobby horse for a $5 donation. A plain horse will be provided along with ribbons and decorations so you can make it your own. The side yard will be set up for hobby horse races and obstacle course so you can test out your new horse. Hobby horses and the race/obstacle course will be moved to the basement in case of rain.
